FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Answer-first — everything you need to know about Lyrlio, for students and for institutions.

What is Lyrlio?

Lyrlio is an AI-powered study app. Record a lecture, import a document or add your notes, and Lyrlio turns them into clean transcripts, summaries, flashcards and quizzes you can study from.

How does Lyrlio help students?

Lyrlio turns your own lectures, notes and documents into study materials — summaries, flashcards and quizzes — so you spend less time organizing your notes and more time actually reviewing them.

Can Lyrlio turn lecture audio into notes?

Yes. Record a lecture in the app and Lyrlio transcribes the audio, then generates a clean summary and study materials from it.

Does Lyrlio create quizzes and flashcards?

Yes. Lyrlio generates quizzes and spaced-repetition flashcards directly from your own lectures, notes and documents, so you can practice what you actually studied.

When will Lyrlio launch?

Lyrlio is launching soon on iOS and Android. Join the waitlist to be first in line.

Is Lyrlio available for universities and schools?

Yes. Lyrlio offers institutional access for schools, universities and tutoring organizations, with centralized license management and B2B activation codes for student access. Visit the Institutions page to request access.

How do institutional licenses work?

Institutions distribute B2B activation codes that let students redeem access under the institution's plan — there's no per-student billing to manage. Contact us through the Institutions page for a plan tailored to your organization.

Is my data safe?

Lyrlio is designed with privacy in mind: data is encrypted in transit, access to your data is restricted, and we do not sell your data. See the Security page for details.

Does Lyrlio replace teachers?

No — Lyrlio supports studying from your own class material; it helps students understand, it doesn't replace teachers.

What languages does Lyrlio support?

Lyrlio supports English and Spanish.
